JustBlogIt takes me to Dashboard

    I’ve just noticed that since upgrading to Strayhorn, my FF JustBlogIt extension only opens a window with the Dashboard showing, it no longer open the write pane with the selected copy to JustBlogIt pasted in.

    Is something different now, that I need to adjust the extension to work correctly?

    The extension probably links to http://your-blog-address/wp-admin/ but should (as of 1.5) now link to http://your-blog-address/wp-admin/post.php

    That’s where it does point to, but still the dashboard opens instead. I get the same result for the PressIt bookmarklet – opens the dashboard, not a post.

    Hrmm… that sounds strange 🙂

    My bookmarklet opens to the post page, but I had to regenerate it after the update to 1.5 because it had been opening the Dashbord. Do you use the Apache mod_rewrite (or the IIS) equivalent for your site?

    BTW: small world, I checked out your blog and saw the story about the police officer & Mercer — I used to live in New Wilmington (now in DC).

    Thanks, that got me the clue I needed. I just deleted the PressIt that I had in my bookmarks bar and then added it back in from the write page, works fine now. And then from that I got the link I needed to set the JustBlogIt extension and now it works as well.

    Amazing how small the world is! I’ve met several folks online from Mercer and surrounding areas.
