[Plugin:NextGen] Adding Gallery listing to a Sidebar – having problems

Hello there!

I’m just trying to add a list of galleries inside a specific album to a sidebar, but I’ve got some issues I can’t seem to solve.

I got this page called “Gallery”(duh) and it calls his own sidebar by a conditional tag. In that page I want to show the first gallery, so I edit its content and add [nggallery id=1] – ok, it works.

Then I edited the view/album-compact.php in order to show only the name of Galleries inside an album, and customized CSS to fit my layout. Fine, too. Then I added the nggShowAlbum function as mentioned on other posts here, and it works fine.

BUT, when I click on a link, it shows me the gallery inside the sidebar, not on the place I want it to show. I don’t know how I’m supposed to make this happen without having to add a new page for each new Gallery. Is there any way?
