Please tell me how to upload video from UTUBE to my post..

    Hi, I have a lot of video I want to use in my Blog but cannot get the actual square picture with the arrow that lets you start playing the video – all I get is a red link.

    One member said this is how to upload video…<object type=”application/x-shockwave-flash” data=”http://video-embed-url&#8221; width=”300″ height=”200″>
    <param name=”movie” value=”http://video-embed-url&#8221; />

    I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THIS MEANS. PLEASE HELP MY SITE IS:

    Copy the embed code from the YouTube video. Then on your WordPress post, be sure to switch to html mode…past in the code and publish.

    Figaro – aaahhhhhhch! I am sooo frustrated. I copied and pasted the “embed code from the YouTube video see below.” But I still get nothing but the red link. No pict. with an arrow to click “play”. Still not there yet.

    When you say, “be sure to switch to html mode” I have no idea where or what that is. I’m sure that’s propably the problem. I’ve also copied and pasted the URL from UTube because when you click on add Video above your post THAT’S the only field they give you to post anything. Been at this all day. Please tell me how to switch to html mode and WHERE TO DO THAT! Clueless and very frustrated.

    I need to login to get there.

    Also, when posting, there are two tabs on top of the posting window: one says Visual and one says HTML. Click on HTML tab and paste in your code.

    Ok, I looked, incluye, at the top right above my post area for both
    “Visual” and for “HTML” both are not there at all. I have many tabs that say, code, b-quote del, ins, ul not of which I understand but not Visual and Not HTML … ?? I have version 2.6.3 WP.

    What do you think. I am really lost now.

    I wasn’t copying ALL of the UTUBE “embeded”code – just some of it!!!
