I am using the theme by Bluebird 2.0 by Randa Clay and am still learning how to customize. I have an About box on the right side of the page that I can not, for the life of me, find out how to edit and/or delete. I have searched the dashboard forever! Anyone? Thanks so much, chachieloo

Ok, so if it isn’t in the dynamic widgets (check by looking in Appearance -> Widgets), then it must be in sidebar.php, probably being called.
No probs – hope it answers your question.

Yes, didn’t see it under appearance: widgets, unless it’s called something else. And unfortunately, I should have qualified that I don’t have a great tech background, I’m uncertain about what “sidebar.php, probably being called” means. Could you please explain a bit more simply? Thanks so much!

You’ll need to go into the theme editor under Appearance and click on the r_sidebar.php file in the list on the right. You’ll be able to see the About section in that file and can edit it. However, I always recommend that people use Widgets for their sidebars instead. That overwrites the default items I’ve placed in the sidebar and lets you customize easily.

I love this theme and will be using it for a CMS site with downloadable ebooks and other stuff. However, The very nice image of the bird on the tree is cut off on the right side. I’ve been trying to find a place to maybe widen the image so it isn’t cut off but I’m pretty new at editing themes so haven’t been able to find where to do it. Can someone point me in the right direction? http://www.bizmarksales.com/wordpress
