Add New Post and Edit Post causes Apache to crash

    Hello,

    First off, I am a complete WordPress and Xampp noob, so please be gentle with me : )

    We run Wrodpress in a very small (14 user) windows LAN as a way of communicating processes and standards to our group; basically our interanal, private Wikipedia.

    We installed Word Press in May of 2008 and it’s been pretty solid until a few weeks ago…

    We can access any post, but when we try to do anything from with the site admin window, Apache crashes.

    We upgraded last week (super easy!) hoping this would make the difference, but we still get the crash of Apache whenever we click on any link from within the site admin window.

    Please help!!

    Any ideas on what I can do to troubleshoot?

    Check the error logs for your site? What shows up there after a crash?

    And, for that matter, can you elaborate a bit on what happens in this crash?

    I have the same issue with just RSS feeds on the dashboard and the RSS widget. Whenever any of our users accesses the dashboard or tries to add an RSS widget, Apache crashes. We worked fine up until I updated to the latest WPMU. I have been unable to find an answer.

    I just fixed the issue I was having by disabling the php_operator module in my php.ini and then restart Apache. Good luck.
