[Plugin: Post Teaser] Cannot update options / hangs w/ Internal Server Error (10 posts)

Hi everybody, use WP 2.7.1 and PT 3.11.2
Yesterday, everything worked fine. Today, published a new post and it appeared that the home page had no more "teasers" but just plain full content... Checked the plugin panel, and PT was deactivated (I didn't do it myself - and didn't have time to work on my blog for the last few days, unfortunately...).
I then reactivated the plugin, my previous options appeared... tried to validate and get a 500 error page (Internal Server Error) [log = GET /wp-admin/options-general.php page=post-teaser.php&saved=true 500 0 1674 1637 1219 ]
Tried it a few times... same pb... Any idea ?
Once again, it worked perfectly, i didn't change anything to my configuration, and cannot have this nice plugin work again as intended...
Might be it's that last update to .2 ????
    Sincerely
    DJM

    Hi DJM,

When you say you try to validate and get 500 error page, what do you mean by 'validate'?

Also, where or how did you install Post Teaser?

Hi Weyhan... I've been using PT for months, since I installed WP in fact... it's installed in the Plugins directory, as are all of the plugins I use... I installed it manually months ago, and now it updates by itself... when I click the update link... ;-) Nothing special here...

When I say "validate", I mean "submit the options" in the plugin's page...
The last update is on April 8th 2009...

    Sincerely
    DJM

    DJM,

It sound like you may have 2 copy of post teaser installed. As far as I know, when you update by clicking on the link WordPress puts a copy in .../plugins/post-teaser/post-teaser.php. So if you have installed it manually and have follow the installation instruction the post-teaser.php file should be in .../plugins/post-teaser.php. Can you verify if that is the case?

THX Weyhan, you were right... corrected that and the plugin's options page can be validated again... But now, when I load the site, I get :

    CGI Error
The specified CGI application misbehaved by not returning a complete set of HTTP headers.

I tried deactivating/reactivating the plugin a few times and I can confirm this behaviour.

BTW, I only had one installation of the plugin, but in .../plugins/post-teaser/post-teaser.php
Moved the page to the plugins' root.

    DJM,

Are you having the problem when post-teaser.php is in .../plugins/post-teaser/ or .../plugins/ ?

It's strange because works fine in my test environment and in a few users installation.

    .../plugins/
When it was in .../plugins/post-teaser/ although I had the plugin activated, it didn't do anything...
