my site is down and i want to reinstall my plugins and wp. EVERYWHERE i go i get this error message for for this and that
Notice: get_settings is deprecated since version 0.0! Use get_option() instead. in /home/admin/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 2684
i can tear out my plugins via my ftp client. i won't be able to deactivate however. can i just tear out the plugins and start afresh ?
In short, yes. Looks like you have 1 or more out-dated plugins.
no, all new or updated. i think i was hacked. the person was trying to get in for a month. this is just the tip of this iceberg!
shane,
this was my first visit to a changeset site. is this just for my info or is it supposed to mean something to me. ty.
i found several files modified.
htaccess for downed site has this line...
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
#RewriteBase /
while my other blogs have this line...
RewriteBase /
plus i have a NEW file...
phpinfo.php
with this code
<? phpinfo() ?>
i did not make these changes. anyone know the significance of these files...
ok, it appears my isp was doing tests on the php via phpinfo.php
my plugins are reinstalled and though the site is broken still i can navigate the admin area. passwords reset. going to end this thread as resolved.
