   Hi,
   i want the authors signing up at my wordpress blog to be able to create their own categories under our created categories but they shouldn't be able to delete them, can you tell me which table we have to modify or how can it be done.

   Hej,

   I need this feature, too.

   Most important for me is that authors may add categories.

   Any idea would be helpful...

   Check out this plugin, allows you to reassign and manage roles, as well as create new ones..
