Please help!! I deleted my self-hosted blog address

    I had my blog up and running from my own domain name, rachelrose.com. The problem is that I accidentally went into settings on my dashboard and put the wordpress address to dontstopberrying.wordpress.com

    Ever since I did that, I cannot get into the proper admin page. It takes me to dontstopberrying.wordpress.com, and not rachelrose.com/blog/wp-login.php

    I really would just like to go back to what I had. Is it possible to reset my wordpress account completely? I haven’t posted anything yet.

    To still be able to log into my blog from my domain name and that is all I want. I want my blog to be: rachelrose.com/blog
    I tried to go into the settings on wordpress, but there isn’t an option to change it.

    How can I fix this?

    *sigh* Rachel, Rachel, Rachel. Don’t worry, you’re not the first to do this and certainly won’t be the last. This problem comes up often. 😉

    LenK! Thank you so much…yes, so frustrating. What is phpmyadmin? I have been using my wesbite host and ws_ftp….is there a way to change it with that?

    Take a look here: http://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#WordPress_address_.28URL.29

    Edit (or create, if they’re not there) those constants in wp-config.php to refer to the proper address. That should do it.

    Hi Sojweb,

    I tried everything you mentioned above. I was able to get to the admin page, but when i enter my username and password it just prompts me again to enter the password. It doesn’t say that the password is wrong or anything it just refresh the page with the username prefilled and the password empty with no error messages. Any help would be really appreciated.
