   I've upgraded Wordpress 1.2 to 1.5 and installed a theme which is not the default. Upon upgrading I have encountered a problem in that now the RSS feeds no longer work. I've tried adding the feed in my RSS reader but to avail - I simply get an error telling me that the feed does not exist. This is not a problem with the reader, since I have used a number of readers to test it.

   Does anyone have any ideas why the feeds could be failing?

   macmanx, do you mean that we should just change the URL for the feed to index.php?feed=rss2 or that we should comment out the preg_match lines as discussed earlier in that post?

   If it is changing the URL, is there a fix that would let the RSS feed URL stay the same after an upgrade to v1.5? I'd prefer to not have to force everyone connected to change if that's possible.

   Go to the following link, click the "download" link, and replace your wp-blog-header.php file:

   http://cvs.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.py/cafelog/wordpress/wp-blog-header.php?rev=1.131&view=auto

   Thanks for that tip Macmanx. Now I've got an RSS feed for my posts - will work on podcasting. Once again the WP SFs come through.

   You could also redirect the old RSS URL to the new in your .htaccess file. It is not that difficult.

   macmanx, I had done replaced the wp-blog-header.php file with the updated one from that link, but just a day or two ago, so maybe it hasn't flowed all the way through Bloglines yet.

    I'm having the same problems, bloglines is not updating my feed even though when you goto the feed url everything looks fine.

    I've replaced the header file but that didn't fix it.

    I am also having the same problem; bloglines is not updating my feed. I go to all three types of feed, rss2, rss.91, atom, and they all look fine, but bloglines does not update immediately, it takes a couple of days before the new posts show up.
