I use paged comments, and would like my links to the most recent comments in the sidebar to link correctly like for example this, if we’re on the second page of comments…:

    /post-name/comment-page-2/#comment-454545

But all the recent comments plugins I’ve tried link it like this

    /post-name/#comment-454545

Which is wrong, it’s a semi 404 if we’re using paging in the comments.

In the WordPress Dashboard the recent comments listings give the correct, paged, links. Are there any recent comments plugins that can imitate what WordPress does natively?

I have this same issue. I want my sidebar links to link DIRECTLY to the comment- not the first page of all comments…a little help?

My default recent comments widget points to the page numbers. No plugin added.

    URL please?

Ipstenu, yes, didn’t realise you could use the dashboard widget on the public side, I’ve never used widgets on the public side before but tried it now…..it’s just a shame that none of the recent comments *plugins* seem to support paging in comments…..
