When leaving a comment on a post, the error “No input file specified” comes up on wp-comments-post.php.

wp-comments-post.php does exist, so that’s not the problem.

The blog is in a subdirectory, /blog. The blog address and the WordPress address are the same: the index.php file is not outside of /blog.

This person is having the same problem, but no solution:

Try temporarily switching to the default theme and see if that solves the problem. If it does, it’s a theme issue.

No, I get the same error in the default theme.

Anyone have any idea what file could be causing this?

For anyone wondering what caused this, I had to reset the permissions on wp-comments-post.
