• I recently noticed that after upgrading to WordPress 1.5 (from 1.2) I not get an error notice when viewing the “Manage” screen (edit.php) using IE. Yes, I know I shouldn’t be using IE, but I’m just curious if anyone else is getting this or knows how I can get rid of it. Here’s the error IE reports:

    Line: 331
    Char: 67
    Error: Expected ‘)’
    Code: 0

I’m thinking it might have to do specifically with my upgrade (I tried installing a fresh copy of 1.5 just to test it out before upgrading, and that one works perfectly, and I used the same file to upload both.) I deleted all my original 1.2 WP files and reuploaded fresh copies of all files, so the only difference I can tell is maybe there’s something wrong in my database? I’m not even sure if that makes sense (I don’t know much about databases.)

In any event, the page functions fine and the only noticable difference is that “Browse Month” displays the month drop-down menu and the “Show Month” button on two lines instead of on the same line.

Just curious if anyone had any pointers or knew how to fix this small error. Thanks in advance.

  • I’ve seen the same error and it didn’t make sense when I looked at the code behind it. Maybe I’m missing something…
