   When I try to upload photos from my computer I get his error message.

   Unable to create directory /home/.carmine/mommiedaze/mommiedaze.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/03. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

   What does this mean? Is it a WP problem or a problem with my host server?

   Including what sovled the problem for me.
   There are also several other threads related to this issue with many different fixes, just search the forum for "Unable to create directory".

   Deleting everything before wp-content/uploads/2009/03 worked. Thanks!
