   This requires use of the visual editor, doesn't it? Could you create something similar for those of us that only use the HTML editor??

   Yes, currently they are only accessible from the visual editor. But that was a good idea, and I'll implement support for the HTML editor as well in the next update. I think I'll be able to do that this weekend.

   Thank You -- that's wonderful! I'd love to use this plugin :)

   Right now I have all my notes in a Greasemonkey script called "Store notes for every website", but I'd like to use something more specific. I like that your plugin makes frequently used text available right in the post template.

   I just uploaded version 1.2, which should be available for download shortly.

   It adds support for the HTML editor, by adding each defined snippet as a quicktag button in the editor. Let me know if there should be any problems with the new quicktag functionality in v1.2, but I think it should work as intended. I tested it quite a bit.
