You forgot to add some link text inside the link?
I added two links just to test it. Neither one appears.
I didn’t realize that I needed to enter the /link at the end.
But even so its not appearing.
This is what i have entered:

I’m going to need a bit more information if you still need help. How about going to the ‘Edit Post’ section, and opening the offending post. From there, click the “HTML” tab, and copy and paste the code here. If it’s a very long post, find the paragraph with the link(s) and post that.

Next question..can I link to a swf file on my Web site so that it opens in a new window?
You can wrap any element with an anchor tag that specifies a target.
