• Hello All,

Is there any way or plugin that would allow us to disable “Users must be registered and logged in to comment” on certain posts? That would allow non registered users to comment on public discussion posts.

    Thanks!

    Corey

    Make sure you have

Users must be registered and logged in to comment

unchecked in the settings->discussion section of your admin dashboard.

    Hi,
A while ago, users started getting this message that they must be registered and logged in to comment. When I check settings > discussion it has the above-mentioned box unchecked. What else can I do to go back to letting anyone comment?

Thanks for any help on this.

Actually, my settings don’t even give that option, it just says users must leave name and email to comment, which is unchecked.

Okay, it’s me again. The box to uncheck is actually under the main settings tab. It works now.
