   when I KNOW I have one
   why does this app keep saying this?
   I have even restored in an attempt to get rid of this annoying and incorrect error message. does anyone have any solutions?

   I found a fix, but it comes as a price. You have to reset your network settings for it to work correctly. Same thing happened to me with google speach search.

   settings -> general -> reset -> reset network settings

   You will loose all stored wireless keys and other network setting you might have had, but it will solve the issue.
