• Hi,

I have tried to uninstall this plugin using the “uninstall” link on the plugin page, but it sends me to a 404 “page not found” link each time.

The exact message is posted below:
“The requested URL /wp-admin/plugins.php was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.”

Does anyone know what steps I need to go through to completely remove the plugin and all database entries it has created?

    Thanks.

  • plugins.php is a default file in any WordPress install. If you do not have a plugins.php file, then you may need to get one. Try downloading WordPress and extract the plugins.php file from it, then upload it to /wp-admin on your server.

I have that file and the NavT plugin appears in the tools section of my dashboard. But the “Uninstall” and “Reset” links on the plugin page dont work.

If I just go ahead and deactivate then delete the plugin, what else would I need to do to completely remove it? Would I have to remove any tables in the mySQL database?
