• Hi,
I would like to reduce the width of the blog to fit into my website. (600) I am not too familiar with wordpress or php yet to know where to go to change this. I looked around in the admin section and didn’t see anything. Any help would be appreciated…

  • I’m going to assume that you are using version 1.5, since you didn’t give that information.

You will have to do a bit of work to do this. Firstly, you will have to use an image editor of some kind to make new graphics or alter the existing graphics that come with the default theme. Then you will have to do some editing of the default theme CSS.

It has nothing to do with PHP.

    Hi NuclearMoose
Sorry, 1.5 it is. I realized that they were graphics as I was looking around in the header.php file in the default theme folder. I got it done but the text is not falling into place. I went into the css file and started changing things but I am not sure exaclty what to change.

Just as a beginning place, you could try adding max-width: 600px; to your body definition in your CSS file.
