   I'm getting this error when activating Smart Archives Reloaded 1.4.3 (with WP 2.7.1):

   Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or '}' in [file path]/wp-content/plugins/smart-archives-reloaded/main.php on line 29

   I use the plugin regularly and haven't had this before. Anyone else? Any ideas? The code on that line looks fine.

   I am having the same problem, only I am getting it on trying to activate the plugin. Does anybody have a solution?

   You are getting this error because your host is running PHP4, which is not developed anymore. This plugin requires PHP5. Sorry.

   This is indeed the issue, thanks. I've switched the site to PHP 5.
