• The strangest thing: I built a site using a common WP theme and made a few changes to the footer. Now I want to go back in and make a few more and the footer but all I can see is a long alphanumeric string.

You can see this on the page at http://www.jigs.org.uk – at the bottom, I’ve added a (c) Jigs notice.

I’m almost certain that the changes I made *were* to the footer file? There isn’t anywhere else I could have made that change, is there?

  • Well, you could have made changes to any of the files in the theme, but what you see in the footer is what is there. I don’t see an alphanumeric string — I see normal footer stuff there.
