Hi, I am trying to build a blog and discover how to do it at once, ie I have no knowledge.
The problem is that there is no reason why sometimes (often) do not see the insert gallery flap and dónt find how to make it appear. I do not mind if I'm doing something wrong, trying to access in a way that can not or if something goes wrong.
I´m using version 2.7.1

PD: my english is too bad I hope you can understand me.
depends if there are any images loaded for particular post - if there is only one image - i think no gallery button appears (as there is only one image)

Thanks, Hotkee made me understand what was happening.
The gallery tab appears only after you've uploaded images.
What I was trying, in test entry was made it with the photos already in the library, and is thereby not apararece Tab Gallery.
Anyway now the question that remains for me without trouble, just to know is:
If one wants to do a second entry with photos already in the library, will upload it again with a different name?
It is not a common case, but as photography is my blog that I could make a useful input to address one aspect of the images eg. technical, and another to tackle another aspect eg. expressive.
Which is the logical way to do that?
There must be something better than duplicating files ...!

Not that I have had the problem of duplication of files - but if I did I would look towards using a plugin solution.

Its not a plugin I have used but might be the sort of thing you need.

I will try it when I can use the nextgen gallery, WP was installed on the server by the hosting provider, and there is a setting problem to turn on nextgen gallery,they are trying to solve it.
On the other hand, I saw that it´s possible to make a gallery of one picture, I liked it because I have activated lightbox and should be a good look to enlarger image.
