   Not for me.. This is what I get when trying to add local files..

   Catchable fatal error: Object of class WP_Error could not be converted to string in /Library/WebServer/Documents/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/add-from-server/add-from-server.php on line 144

   running MacOSX 10.5.6 Leopard / Wordpress 2.7.1
   Apache/2.2.9 (Unix) PHP/5.2.6

   D'oh! Typical WP permissions issue. I think i fixed it with this...

   sudo chown -R _www:_www wp-content/
