[Plugin: Gigs Calendar] Gig Post Title

When a gig is created, a post is automatically created and given a title in the form

City, State – Date – Venue – Country – Event Name

This turns out to be a really long and awkward title. Sure, I can edit the title of the post after, but by then the social networking systems I have in place have already announced the new post with this ridiculous title.

Consider these feature requests, but I’d love to know how to do it myself (or where to look) so as to fix it in the short term.

When creating a gig, add post but make it a draft so title can be edited, template page chosen, etc.
AND/OR
Add a post title field as part of creating gig.
AND/OR
Have setting to select which data is used to create the post title, and the ability to reorder, just like can currently be done for gig lists (something like this has also been done for the upcoming widget – date and two pieces of data – works great!).
