• Hey All,

I am trying to install wordpress on my companies website. I am having a lot of inconsistency though. They are running IIS, which I already know is not the most popular server. Still, their website runs off of this so it can’t be changed.

The blog basically works on and off. One minute a page will load and another minute the page will not load. The browser calls for it and it waits. Nothing comes up and the page just becomes blank white. Sometimes links on the page will have to be clicked twice to get the page to begin loading correctly. This is occuring in IE and FF. Is there a plugin I can install or a fix for the wp-config file I can use to make running the blog on IIS go smoother?

Thanks in advance for any help.

    –Joe

    Bump!

No one has any idea how this might be happening or what to do?

occasionaly my site will go blank as well. To fix it I just turn the theme off and back on quickly and it’s fine.

I wish that was the case. I have tried that several times. The issue is still recurring. Have a look.

It most likely wont load the first time, but reload it and everything will come up. It’s not a connection issue. I have tried it on different computers and gotten the same result. Also, the test blog ran on an apache server and worked fine. For some reason when running on the IIS server it doesnt do so well.

I have the same problem but not as often now that I use the DB Cache plugin. This plugin caches the database for faster loads. This is the only cache I can get working on IIS6. It seems the others are written for Apache.
