• This is a really dumb question. I’ve installed NextGEN and set up a gallery. I’d like to put a slide show in a post. The instructions say to place this tag in the post:

    [slideshow id=x w=width h=height]

    Where exactly does this tag get entered? In the body of the post? Or is there a special place for it? I put it in the body and I just get nothing which is why now I’m wondering if I’ve done something wrong.

    thanks in advance for any help.

  • Just add that tag to the body of your post, or page, like you would add any other text / tags 🙂

    I wonder if you got the tag quite right. This tag in the body of a post:

    [slideshow=2,450,280]

    will display a slideshow of the gallery with ID number 2 right where the tag is. It will have a width of 450px and a height of 280px.

    Hi,

    I have added [slideshow=1,450,280] to my post, but it doesn’t show anything.

    I’m running WP 2.7.1 & NG 1.2.1. What else should I be doing to allow the slideshow to work?

    Check in NG > Options > Slideshow to make sure the settings are correct. If they’re not, the slideshow won’t work

    I’m inserting the shortcode for my gallery and slideshow and it doesn’t work right. For the gallery I get a row of thumbnails, and for the slideshow I get nothing. Can anybody help resolve this? Thanks.
