   Hi,

   When I write a new article I have many categories listed 2-3 times.

   If I go to dashboard/categories then I only see each category listed once.

   Please suggest what I should do.

   Try this plugin http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/comicpress-manager/

   It will help to sort out the duplicates (if they really are duplicates).

   I installed and activated the plug-in and it was a very big one!

   However, I don't see how to use it. to solve my particular 'problem'.

   Please help.

   Go to Tools->Merge Rename Categories.

   There should be two columns of categories. You should be able to identify duplicate categories (if there are really some duplicates).

   Then you select one category from each column and merge them together - that affectively puts the posts into one category. Check the delete checkbox and it will remove one of the categories completely so you wont see duplicate again.

   In WP tools I have ..

   Import, Export, Upgrade

   In ComicPress 1.4.4

   I have ...

   Upload, Import, Bulk Edit, Storyline Structure, Change Dates, ComicPress Config, Manager Config

   But not 'merge'.

   Sorry eagerwatcher - I think I have given you the wrong plugin name - still trying to figure out what the heck I am doing.

   But the plugin you need is this one here

   Well that was quick and much easier that trying to do it with the Comic Plug-in!

   The plug-in solved the problem in seconds.
