Someone has a basic website they want to keep, they just want to add a blog to it. Can I leave their website (not WP) add wordpress to the server, set up db and have a theirsite.com/blog where just that directory is running wp?
Can this be done with wordpress (3 posts)

Yes, if WordPress is installed into its own directory, it should not interfere with other areas of the website.
