   I don't the usual email notification from WP that there are pending comments, if they are tweetbacks.

   Also, the email I get from WP after I approve the tweetback comment doesn't actually contain the content of the tweetback, only the URL for the comment portion of the post.

   Also the comments dashboard doesn't show the tweetbacks.

   I have not done the modifications to separate the tweetbacks from pingbacks, etc. as I just wanted the tweetbacks to work like the rest of the comments, so I'm expecting that out of the box it should indeed work that way. Hmm. Thanks for any help...

   Note: I'm using a custom theme if that matters.

   Are you actually using WP 2.7? Which version of Tweetbacks?

   I see Tweetbacks in the comments stream in the dashboard in my WP2.7.1 installs, but not the 2.6.5 installs.

   I know the Tweetbacks emails for the 2.6.5 installs are weird as you described, although I honestly can't remember if the 2.7.1 ones are correct or not - that site doesn't get many tweetbacks.

   The theme shouldn't matter for any of these things as far as I know - they're administrative-level things.

   Ricky - I'm using WP 2.7.1 and Tweetbacks 1.5.3.

   Good to know the problems I'm experiencing are familiar, even if it's in a different version. I'm hoping to see things improve because it's a really great plugin and would just be that much nicer if it worked cleanly.

   I don't even think you get emails, do you? At the moment you shouldn't...

   I understand that, but we're bypassing the normal comment thing right now, I'll look into whether I can change that.

   In WP2.6.5 there are emails but they're very weirdly formed - they look like this:

   From: 	deckchairs (Deckchairs) <wordpress@atmac.org>
   Subject:
   Date: 	17 March 2009 10:55:52 AM
   To: 	ricky@notdoneliving.net
   Reply-To: 	"twitter:61880883/ab2_bigger.jpg"@boo.dreamhost.com

   In this case, the reply-to appears to be the image address, and the body of the message is just the comments of the relevant post. The from name is the twitter username and real name of the user.

   I guess the comments system works differently in 2.6* than 2.7*
