Hello,
I noticed that some WP themes have catagories as the links on their menubars and other themes have pages as links on their menubars. What is the difference and why would you want to do one over the other?

Some themes give you a choice of using either Pages or Categories. I suppose it is just a matter of what navigation items are most important to you (and your visitors).
Using Pages in the menubar is probably more predominant than categories, so here's a way to mix pages and categories on a Page driven menubar--How to easily display links to both Pages and Categories in the blog navigation header?
