Comments showing before approved

    I’m new to WordPress so please bear with me. I set it up on my sever and it seems to be working OK, with one annoyance. When someone replies to a post the comments show up and it says “Your comment is awaiting moderation”. If the comment is awaiting moderation, then I would expect it to not show up until I approve it.

    Under settings>discussion I have ticked:
    *Comment author must fill out name and e-mail
    *A comment is held for moderation
    *An administrator must always approve the comment

    and un-ticked are:
    *Allow people to post comments on the article
    *Users must be registered and logged in to comment
    *Anyone posts a comment
    *Comment author must have a previously approved comment

    What am I missing? I disabled all of my plug-ins but still no luck.

    The really odd thing is, I logged in as admin to check it out and when I went to the post the comments did not show. What could I be doing wrong?

    Well, never mind. It turns out that WordPress will display comments on my desktop that I log into WordPress on as admin. When I try another computer comments don’t display until approved. It had me going for a while there. :=)
