   Okay I just did the upgrade, after uploading all the new files I got the message that my database is out of date and needs to be updated.
   I clicked the update button and this came up and now I can't do anything.
   Can I fix this or do I have to go back to my backup?

   Internal Server Error
   The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
   
   Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@_____.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
   
   More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
   
   Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

   I have also this problem.... it's an htaccess problem?

   A 500 server error usually occurs when a Security module kicks in and prevents the page from running.

   Either re-upload the files, or try chmoding the files to 644 via FTP.
