I am trying to upload a media file and I get an error that the maximum file size is 7M and that it's set in my php.ini file.
Is there really no place in WordPress to edit this limit? I thought that in previous versions we were able to set that limit in the options.
Can someone help me adjust this please? I can't find php.ini anywhere.

To my knowledge, this is set by your host in many shared hosting situations and you won't be able to change it.
However, the issue you're looking for has already been discussed in another thread (probably a bunch of other threads.)
If that particular thread doesn't solve your situation, just try searching the forums as this is a common problem.
