Flash uploader: HTTP Error

    When trying to upload files through the flash uploader: Add Media > From computer > Add media files from your computer > Choose files to upload

    I get an error:
    HTTP Error – An error occurred in the upload. Please try again later.

    I have set the permissions on WP-content to 777. The Browser uploader works okay.

    What could be the problem?

    There are a lot of things it could be, version of flash, browser, etc. etc. That is why the the browser uploader is there – so you can use it and not waste time trying to fix something that comes with a workaround.

    Put your permissions back where they should be and blog away using the browser uploader.
