   When trying to download any of the themes the zip file try to open with ms office word, but says there's problems with the content and doesn't open.

   You've got your zip file association screwed up. Download the theme file and then right click on the file and click open with then chose program, then chose your unzipping program if you don't have one then choose 'compressed (zipped) folders'.
