wordpress stripping slashes from document content?

    Anybody have a clue WHY WordPress randomly strips out slashes from posts? The last tutorial I posted had all the backslashes stripped out of the path examples that I used in the text when I published the document. What a major league piece of crap! Afterall these years STILL full of bugs and not very useful for writing technical documents. One of the guys over at the WAMPSERVER once suggested that I should put my tutorials in PDF format and post them that way. He might be right but I HATE PDFs even MORE than I HATE WordPress!

    Because of sanitizing database input, that’s why. Hey – does anyone know if there’s any kind of a plugin (or, better yet, an automatic update or setting) that will automatically encode those for him?
