My server folks told me to change my cpanel password because it was too simple. I did, and now I get this message when I try to log in to wp-admin -
Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/rantna40/public_html/wp/wp-config.php:47) in /home/rantna40/public_html/wp/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 850
I didn't change any database logins, but perhaps I did inadvertently...
Anybody got any ideas?

I changed my password back and still have the same problem. Can somebody tell me what might have happened? I changed the pword in wp-config.php, is there somewhere else I have to change it?

If I were to reinstall to the latest version using the same table, would it overwrite the table or leave everything in place? That could be a fix, because I'm tired of banging my head against the wall. I don't want to lose all my posts and start over... (yet)

I hope it's not too late.
Same thing happened to an installation I made while transferring to another server.
Try to edit wp-config.php.
Check if line 47 is the last one in this file.
If it is just blank delete it.
In general check if there is an empty line after the last ?> and remove it.
