I uploaded a new sub-page to a page I created but it doesn't show up anywhere on my blog. Any attempts to try to get a sub-page plug in are foiled by my utter incompetence in computer terminology. Would someone please describe IN DETAIL how to load and active a plug-in so I can get this to work? Leave no little bit of information out (including complete URL names)as like I mentioned earlier, I'm a n00b. I appreciate all your help.
Managing Plugins has a section on installing a Plugin.
I like to download the plugin zip to my local machine then in Plugins->Add new use the 'Install plugin from zip' feature, which simply involves browsing for the zip and installing. See Administration > Plugins > Add New
Hi there, you could take a look at this great tutorial by figaro, it will help with the upload of plugins and themes.

Where do I find that option? Is it on wordpress.org or wordpress.com. The blog is something that I activated through my host site and I don't know if certain functions are available to me.

What version of WordPress are you using?

I can't find the version but I just loaded it between December and Jaunary; I do know that it's not ver. 2.7.1
Then if it is lower than 2.7, following Upgrading WordPress to get to the current version so you can use a more automatic approach to installing plugins.

Again, lots of stuff on how to install that I don't understand. I'll try contacting my host to see if they can help me upgrade.
