Sidebar is not appearing, need help.

On the front page the sidebar appears, but on any other page it doesn’t.

They are all using the same template page.php

Somehow the other pages are able to ignore get_sidebar();

The sidebar just has plain html text. So I am wondering if there is a special setting somewhere or something you can set somewhere else in a template to cause this to happen?

Any help is greatly appreciated as I am totally stumped.
