ScottAllenCan someone direct me to a FUNCTIONAL featured posts widget?
I've spent about two hours searching and trying every one I could find.
Alex King's Articles plugin works in a template, not in a widget (I'm using Samsarin PHP widget).
Those Were the Days kinda sorta works, but it won't return the first sentence like it's supposed to.
Featured Posts won't work in a template either.
The various solutions that require using a category aren't acceptable -- I'm not willing to add a category for this -- it's not a freakin' category.
I'm using the Thematic theme framework -- definitely want to make it a widget. Unfortunately I don't have the coding skills to build it myself or fix any of the above.
