   Now, it's a very simple change I made, but at least it works, right!? I didn't delete any extraneous code in fear that I could break something, because I'm not a coder.

   Do you still have the updated plugin? Was looking for a fix on this today, but the link to your updated version of gravatar-signup is broken.

   I just released version 2.0, a big update with fixes and much smoother and unobtrusive operation!

   Tried the 2.0 but cant get it to work, searched the comments.php and had a comment_form hook (found one entery of it anyways :P not 100% sure what u mean by it) but still cant see any checkbox?

   using fusion theme.
