   I'm running WordPress 2.7.1, WP Touch 1.7.5, and WordPress' iPhone app version 1.2 (also happens in 1.1).

   When I try to use my blog in WordPress' iPhone app, I get server time out errors. If I deactive the WPTouch plugin on my blog, WordPress' iPhone app works great.

   Hmmm... never had that bug reported. We'll look into it.

   It might be an issue with the WP app. I know they're working on an update. We'll hold off on trying anything till it's out, then go from there.

   I'm using the very latest of their code (building from svn) and it still happens.

   Good news! I was just going through the WP-Touch settings and saw the GZIP compression note that it causes problems with some plugins and unchecked the box. Now it works well with the Wordpress iPhone app (at least the latest 1.2 anyway).

   As a note, I was getting this problem with no other plugins enabled except WP-Touch.

   Great! Yeah, it's an experimental feature, and not the best one, but adds a bit of extra performance in some situations.
