Static Text above posts

    Hi there – okay, last one (I hope)

    I would like to insert static text in the area above the posts with an image background. Using Insan theme in WordPress 2.7. I’m severly techi-challenged, so would really appreciate very simple instructions on how to do this – what to insert and where to insert it in which file. Sorry to be a pest, but I’m liable to mess up big time if it’s not very simple.
