    Hello sfedona,

please tell me, which options for the plugin are checked and which are unchecked in your settings.

Could you please also post the URL of your blog? I could help you better, if I could see the blogroll in action on your site.

    Hi!

It's me again. I think I found the the cause for the problem. It has something to do with the name of your link-category.

The category-names are also used for internal purposes of the plugin. This obviously leads to problems when the names contain special characters.

I think I will switch to category-IDs as far as the internal processing is concerned -- this should fix the problem.

I will publish the bugfix within the next days.

For the time being, until the bugfix is released, I can only recommend to rename the category in order to remove the special characters.

The problem was an incompatibility with another inclusion of the jQuery JavaScript-library.

Feed Reading Blogroll is using the JQuery-library that comes bundled with WordPress. If themes or other plugins bring their own jQuery, it might interfere with the bundled one.

Removing the non-WordPress JQuery solved the problem in this particular case.

Hi... Not sure if I'm having similar problems here???

I did have the feed-reading blogroll working fine on my site, but then after upgrading to Wordpress 2.8 the blogroll javascript sorting doesn't work. I've also lost all other info (post title, author, time), that was there before the upgrade???

I am using the latest 1.3 version of the blogroll.

    Any ideas???

I see that you are using the plugin lightbox-2. I suggest you try to deactivate that one and check, if the blogroll works after that.

I had problems with lightbox-2 myself in the past.

Furthermore, with WP 2.8, the jQuery JavaScript-library was updated to version 1.3.2, maybe that is causing the problem.

@stephencoley: I could reproduce your problem on a test-blog and on my own blog by installing the plugin WordPress Flickr Manager

    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wordpress-flickr-manager/

You and I are not the only ones who are facing this problem. See the comments at the blog of the developer.

The JavaScript that comes with the flickr manager is not yet working with WP 2.8 and is breaking some other scripts when they run together on the same blog.

So I would suggest to deactivate the flickr manager and to wait for an update of this plugin.

Thanks for this... I've de-activated the Flickr Manager and the blogroll is now working fine :-)

Don't install this "updated" version, it has malicious software in it.
