I have installed this plugin but cannot successfully test the attachment upload directory on the settings page. I have confirmed w/ my host that the directory allows 755 permissions so I am not sure what the problem is.
One possible explanation:
Does postmaster require 777 permissions?
Anyone else have an explanation?

I think I read somewhere that there may be issues if the directory lies outside of the wordpress root. I created postmaster/ under my up-content/uploads/ directory, set it to 755, and seems to work fine.
I am, however, having issues with the templates, but that is another story.
