    Hey There,

I've been having a strange problem with this plugin on My Site, in Google Chrome.
While it seems to works fine in FFX, on Chrome it doesnt seem to load the socialbar properly. The browser status bar keeps saying "waiting for ___" and "Sending Request" and displays various other things. Eventually Chrome says there are too many scripts and disables it, and then displays "Something went wrong displaying this Webpage".

Any help would be appreciated :)

    Hiya,

Checked out a few things, nice site. I'm guessing this has something to do with how fast both Google Friend Connect and Chrome are expanding their individual projects.

Chrome is a fantastic idea in motion that should really bring on the next gen of how we deal with browsing. In the meantime there's bound to be a few bugs while everything gets rolled out.

Not sure where the conflict is happening for you without being able to see it run but the Social Bar does seem to work fine on my site(and every other one that I've visited) in Chrome btw.

Completely unrelated cool Google Chrome video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wlqImTN1Rw0

    Hey hey,

    Thanks for the help.

If it means anything, I had to disable the plugin immediately because it shot up the number of visitors I was getting by a randomly sharp increase. Apparently those "visits" were just from addresses like "http://p7rjrrl49ose4gob99eonlvp0drmce3d.friendconnect.gmodules.com/gadgets/...." and similar ones. Also, it works fine on the site homepage, but this abnormality only occurs on post pages.

I've tried disabling various other plugins to see if any were conflicting with it, but to no avail.

Its a really strange problem that I've been racking my head trying to fix lol. Any ideas ?

@clintonjeff Hey no problem, whatever works for you. I've verified that what I said originally is in fact the case. It's being worked on and is not a result of the wordpress plugin.

@thepplway You can specify at Google Friend Connect's official site that you wish to use more than one website with the same account. Then, yes your Site ID will work on your new WordPress site as well.

    Regards
