   I think this plugin right here is for Drupal.
   I'm looking for something very similar... actually, I'm looking for the very same thing for my wordpress blog.

   The numbers to the left are only visible to the admin. Furthermore, here is the same concept on other sites:

   I would highly appreciate any recommendations as to where to find this (with stats and all that is).

   yea those are drupal versions of
   1pixelout audio player

   here is one that is supposed to work for wordpress
