   Hi All,

   I'm trying to do my auto upgrade to 2.7.1 from 2.7 and I'm getting the following...

   Downloading update from http://wordpress.org/wordpress-2.7.1.zip
   Unpacking the core update
   Verifying the unpacked files
   Installing the latest version
   Could not copy file: /var/www/html/blog/wp-config-sample.php
   Installation Failed

   Any ideas? I had the old WPAU installed which I've just disabled and now deleted.

   Also does the auto upgrade now no longer back your files automatically?

   I have a similar issue. Trying to do the Auto Upgrade from the Dashboard. Deleted the Auto-update plug-in and deactivated other plug-ins. I changed the permission to 777 on the folders the files are in. The ****** is my account number.
