  • Typically, the date (and time) is displayed using the template tag, the_time().

    For example in the WordPress Default Theme, in the wp-content/themes/default/index.php file, this line causes the date to display:

    <?php the_time('F jS, Y') ?>

    This problem is fixed in version 2.6. You can download it at my homepage. It will be live in the coming days/weeks here on wordpress.org.

    The problem has nothing to do with template tags. It was just a little css error I made (display: none).
